Download "5 Secrets of workers' compensation"
Do you want your workers' compensation claim paid by the insurer?
Liability Pended Or Disputed
Has the insurer been investigating for weeks or months and still has no answers for you? Has the insurer's doctor said your injury is not work-related or is in your head?
Stress claims
Have you been gaslighted? Have you been bullied? Are you burned out? Have you been overworked? Have you been undermined? Do you dread going to work?
Surgery and medical expenses
Has your surgeon recommended surgery, but the insurer is making excuses? Has the insurer ignored your requests for reimbursement of your medical and physio expenses? Have you developed a secondary injury that needs treatment? Is the insurer sending you to the company doctor? Is the company doctor ignoring you and signing you off for work when you're not ready?
Income Compensation
Is your rate of pay correct? Have you been paid the average of your penalty rates and allowances? Has your annual leave been reinstated? Do you need an extension to the income compensation general limit?
Permanent Impairment
Can you trust the insurer's doctor's assessment of your permanent impairment? How much compensation could you lose if they are wrong?
Common law claims
Has negligence been properly investigated? Have all relevant injuries been assessed to maximise your whole person impairment?
Settlement
Has everything been taken into account, including rate of pay, annual leave, traveling expenses, Medicare, Centrelink, private health and income protection? An insurer will make only one offer to a worker, but will make three to five counter-offers to an experienced lawyer and will almost double the offer they make to a worker.
Why choose perth compo law?
The insurer pays your Legal fees
A lot of law firms will also get the insurer to pay your fees, but with a catch. They will also claim up to 10% of your settlement sum from you. Or they will ask you to pay around $10,000 before continuing on with your WorkCover application. Or they will pressure you to accept the insurer's offer, otherwise they will issue you a legal bill for $10,000 and tell you to find a new law firm.
We don't do that. We will make an application for conciliation for you and then an application for arbitration without requesting upfront legal fees from you. We negotiate our legal fees with the insurer. If we are not successful for you or contribute to your success, we don't get paid.
Fast personalised response rate
A lot of law firms have so many clients that they can't respond to phone calls or emails for days or even over a week. Your case is often managed by a junior lawyer who often gets replaced by another junior lawyer. They can't keep up and you will have to repeat yourself to several different lawyers. They don't know Western Australia workers' compensation law well enough. That means your case drags out and your legal bill sky rockets out of control.
With Perth Compo Law, you will be given a personal mobile number so you can message a lawyer late at night or on the weekends. You won't have to be stressed for a week or over the weekend waiting for a lawyer to respond to you.
Real experience
Most workers' compensation lawyers hardly ever take an arbitration application all the way to the final hearing. Or they don't do the necessary investigation to make sure you have presented the best evidence you can. Or they haven't read, understood and remembered the hundreds of cases that are relevant to Western Australia workers' compensation. This means that you have to accept a much lower offer or go to the final hearing and get paid nothing or very little because your case was not presented the best way.
Harry Evans, the Director of Perth Compo Law has made hundreds of WorkCover applications and knows exactly what evidence satisfies arbitrators.

Jeanette - Champion Lakes - pre-existing injury
I was injured in the workplace in April 202o. Harry’s Injury Lawyer site was the first one to pop up in a Google search for me, and little did I know then, what a find he would prove to be. After a phone call, lots of free advice given on more than one occasion, with no pressure to sign with him, my hand was forced by my workplace to engage his services. With a now 5 month delay in acceptance of my claim, Harry got things moving, with my claim accepted and all my private surgery expenses reimbursed. Ongoing issues with the insurer, caused many headaches all of which were quickly resolved due to Harry’s unwavering commitment to taking my calls and providing me with the reassurances I needed to hear. His settlement negotiation skills were something to be seen and I can honestly say when I saw his written proposal and the advice he gave to me during that process was invaluable. Thankfully he reached a more than satisfactory result for me and I was able to walk away knowing that no stone had been left unturned and that justice had in a small way been achieved through my settlement. A true gentleman, a lawyer who has empathy and the will to fight for you when you’re at your most vulnerable…… Thankyou Harry.David - Two Rocks - Knee injury
